Martina de Lima graduated from the Cayman Islands Law School in 2002 and was subsequently called to the New York Bar in 2003 and to the Cayman Islands Bar in 2007.
From 2005 to 2016, Martina practised in the business law and funds groups of various Cayman Islands law firms, eventually specialising in investment funds. From 2016-2021,
Martina operated her own Cayman Islands law firm, which focused on the establishment, maintenance, regulation and dissolution of regulated mutual funds and private equity vehicles structured as corporations and partnerships.
