Jos is a corporate and funds lawyer who has over twenty years of legal experience in London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong gained with Freshfields, Maples and Calder and Clifford Chance. Jos has specialised in advising private equity vehicles and hedge funds, acting for sponsors and managers in China, Hong Kong and the U.S. and for investors worldwide. He has set up numerous flagship buy-out funds, fund of funds, hedge funds and hybrid funds and has experience of a range of structures including umbrellas, master feeders, co-investments, parallel vehicles and managed accounts. Jos has advised on the structuring of joint ventures, IPOs of Cayman issuers on the HKSE and NASDAQ, on pre-IPO and preference share financings and restructurings, on shareholder disputes and on a broad range of corporate governance and related issues including fiduciary duties, poison pills and share repurchases.
